A refuge where nature and community meet
Loreto is a unique refuge where the Gulf of California, islands, desert and local communities come together. The blue whale is the emblem of a healthy ecosystem, protected through science, responsible tourism and the Passive Observation method developed in collaboration with Dr. Diane Gendron.
This virtual museum shares scientific knowledge with visitors, students, teachers, operators and everyone interested in the conservation of Loreto Bay.
